Coldstones Quarry, Greenhow, Pateley Bridge District, North Pennines, North Yorkshire, England, UK

Limestone Quarry currently (2004) operated by Hansons for roadstone. There are two mineral veins run through the quarry;
Coldstones Sun Vein
Garnet Vein
Both of these have been previously worked for lead and 'old mans' levels have been exposed in the quarry from time to time.
Mineralised material excavated by the quarry is stockpiled then sent to Laportes Mill in Derbyshire.
