Emperor Mine, Vatukoula, Tavua Gold Field, Viti Levu, Fiji

Gold (+silver) mine. Epithermal vein deposits within the Tavua Caldera. Opened 1933. Located at the northern tip of the main Island of Viti Levu, in the Nakaudavadra Mountaisn about 100Km NW of Suva and 8 km inland from the coast (Smith et al. 2008)
