Autoroute 50 road cut #2, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Argenteuil RCM, Laurentides, Québec, Canada

Formerly: Autoroute 50 roadcut #2, Grenville township, Argenteuil Co., Québec, Canada

Construction of a new section of Autoroute 50 (2007-2008) exposed orange calcite veins cutting Precambrian marble and calc-silicate rocks in a huge (~2 km long) roadcut near the village of Grenville sur la Rouge. Some of the veins are in the road bed and are being destroyed by ongoing construction.
