In dolomitic crystaline limestone; in pegmatite.

The fluoborite-bearing crystalline limestone is in contact with red granite pegmatite and is exposed by a road-cut on the south side of the Crystal lake Road . Grey peristerite occurs in the pegmatite.

    Habit: hexagonal prisms caracterized by rounded edges and absent terminal faces.
    Colour: colorless to cream-white
    Fluorescence: white in SW
    Description: occur individually and as parallel divergent clusters, resembling apatite. Silky to pearly lustre on fresh surfaces, chalky on weathering.
