Imalo, Andrembesoa Commune, Betafo District, Vakinankaratra Region (Betafo - Antsirabé region), Antananarivo Province, Madagascar

(Imalo, Kaominina Andrembesoa, Distrikan' i Betafo, Faritra Vakinankaratra, Faritany Antananarivo, Madagasikara)

A granite pegmatite (NYF- type) hosted in marbles known for hambergite specimens and located south of Betafo, beside the river Mania. Specimens with phenakite crystals embedded in milkwhite quartz with amazonite crystals were found close to the classic Imalo locality in the beginning of the 21.century.
