(Fiskenæs; Fiskenæsset)

The Fiskenæsset Complex is a metamorphosed, layered magmattic complex belonging to the Precambrian Shield of West Greenland. Fiskenæsset is a small community located about 160 km S of Godthåb (Nuuk).
More than 40 localities of sapphirine, 6 of them including kornerupine is known in the Fiskenæs area (Petersen & Johnsen (1980); Petersen & Secher 1993).


Most of the minerals listed here are minerals found within sapphirine-bearing rocks.
