Zinkwand Mt., Obertalbach valley, Schladminger Tauern Mts, Schladming, Styria, Austria

(Zinkwand, Obertal, Schladminger Tauern, Schladming, Steiermark, Österreich)

Polygene deposit with vein-type Bi-Co-Ni mineralizations near the intersection of fault zones in amphibolites, gneisses and micaschists with sulphide- and arsenide-bearing strata. The deposit was worked from both the Styrian and the Salzburgian side, and the material on the dumps on both sides originates from both provinces as well.
