Pilanesberg Mt, Gauteng Province, South Africa

Trachytic volcanic and pyroclastic eruptives which overlie ring dykes of various miaskitic syenites and agpaitic nepheline syenites. Amongst the nepheline syenites are sheets of eudialyte-bearing "lujavrite" very similar to that from the Lovozero, Kola.
This is an almost circular igneous complex of 530 square kilometer in size and lies at the junction of the acid phase and basic phases of the Bushveld Complex north of Rustenburg.
