Kurghal (Korghal) Pegmatite Field, Laghman (Lagman; Nuristan) Province, Afghanistan

The deposits consist of pegmatite veins embedded in proterozoic crystalline schist and garnet-sillimanite-biotite gneiss (Bariand & Poullen 1978)
