Oxford pegmatite field. This locality is not in Lovell! The locality was erroneously listed in Lovell by Dana (1888) based on information given to him by local mineral dealers who wanted to keep competition from collecting at the site. The locality was on the Joe McKeen Farm in Stoneham and is now known as the Beryllonite Locality and this locality is located a few tens of meters downslope from the Melrose Quarry.
