(Magnesitbergwerk, Millstätter Alpe, Radenthein, Gurktaler Alpen, Kärnten, Österreich)
Large magnesite body in garnet-rich micaschists, amphibolites, hornblende schists and marbles, extending over a length of about 5 km. The deposit is mined since 1907, first from an open cut and since 1942 also from a mine. The open-cast workings were abandoned in 1966, the mine is still active. Located on the southeastern slopes of the Millstätter Alpe, northwest of Radenthein.
