Alpeiner Scharte, Vals valley, Sill valley (Wipp valley), North Tyrol, Tyrol, Austria

(Alpeiner Scharte, Valser Tal, Silltal (Wipptal), Nordtirol, Tirol, Österreich)

Molybdenite-bearing quartz veins, hosted by gneisses. The deposit was worked for some time during the second world war, but failed to be profitable and therefore, the mine was soon abandoned. Located near the Alpeiner Scharte, in the upper Vals valley.
