Clyde Long property (Surprise Claims; Elk Park Mine; Exxon lease; Centennial Claims), Elk Park, San Juan Co., Colorado, USA

Ref.: "Minerals of Colorado, updated & revised", p.28, by Eckel, Edwin B., 1997; Rocks & Min.:65:59. This mineralized shear zone area in the Las Animas River Canyon is located about 1000 feet west of the bridge over the Animas River 1 mi below Elk Park (SE 1/4 sec. 19, T. 40 N., R. 70 W.).
