Iron Mountain, Iron Mountain complex, Fremont Co., Colorado, USA

On the north side of Pine Gulch, a tributary of Grape Creek, 10 1/2 mi southwest of Canon City (T. 19-20 S., R. 72 W.). The area is reached from the Copper Gulch road between Royal Gorge (Parkdale) and Westcliffe. ("Minerals of Colorado, updated & revised", p. 15, by Eckel, Edwin B., 1997)

Rocks consist of olivine gabbro, anorthosite, pyroxenite, and dunites.
