Ushkatan (Ushkatyn) deposit, Atasu - Karazhal - Zhayrem area, Kazakhstan

Late Devonian to early Carboniferous bedded Fe-Mn deposit in the western part of the Dzhail'ma syncline in central Kazakhstan.
Located in the triangle between the towns of Atasu, Karazhal and Zhayrem.
