Old iron mines located over the Cogne village.
The main ore was the magnetite of good quality for iron and steel industry.
The most important are:
-Larcinaz (2000 mt.)
-Costa del Pino (2027 mt.)
-Colonna (2410 mt.)
-Liconi (2520 mt.)
