Block 14 Opencut, Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia

Large opencut with (at least in 2000) outcrops of rhodonite in galena.

NOTE: Material from this opencut (and the Kintore Opencut) which was very rich in secondary minerals could be collected in the 1990s on designated dumps on the mine site of the Pinnacles mine http://www.mindat.org/loc-5752.html).
