Elijärvi (Kemi) Cr mine, Kemi, Lapin (Lapland) Lääni, Finland

A 2.4 billion year-old mafic-ultramafic layered intrusion, extending 15km northeast of Kemi hosts eleven chromite orebodies. Reserves total 57.3Mt, grading 25-26% Cr2O3.
