Marbles and schists of the Pelagonian massif at the upper part of Babuna river, about 40 km SW of Skopje.
Lower schistose part of the Precambrian polymetamorphic series: Baryte-baring schists, quartz-cymrite schists, pink dolomitic marbles, mica-schists and gneisses, the so-called "mixed series".

All the Nežilovo localities and sublocalities are hosted in these rocks, and the precise geographical localities for the minerals are not always given.

Copper is associated with adelite–descloizite group, that replaces primary rock-forming tilasite.
