"According to Dudley Blauwet (Dudley Blauwet Gems, Louisville, Colorado), the find occurred in October 2001, at a pegmatite near Khauraz in Laghman Province. He obtained 14 kg of material, about half of which was gem quality." [Laurs, 2002]
