Main lode courses roughly E-W and yielded copper and arsenic. A N.N.W crosscourse yield lead. Outputs1856-74 12,000 tons copper ore, 1300 tons lead ore, 13,145 oz silver. Dines (1956) records the dumps as overgrown and obscured. Maps from 2004 would have the whole area reclaimed and mostly built on.

The mine has been extensively built on and has experienced several subsidence episodes.
Remedial work was carried out in 2007/8 and a full and very interesting report including history, photos, bore hole cores etc etc can be found by following the link below.

Surprisingly the engine house of Bedford Shaft still survives and has been converted for other use, but the architecture of the building gives away it previous use.
