Křemže (German: Krems) is a market town and municipality in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Křemže lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Český Krumlov, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of České Budějovice, and 132 km (82 mi) south of Prague.

Altered ultrabasic bodies (peridotites, pyroxenites) surrounded by granulites. Deep weathering with Fe and Ni-rich zones resulted in the mining of Fe and prospecting for Ni in the past.

Several localities with similar mineralization (Běhounek, Bohouškovice, Borek, Holubov, Chlumeček, Krak, Rojšín etc.), but there is no need to describe them separately.
