A former Au mine & stone quarry located in the SW¼ sec. 34, T3N, R13E, MDM, 0.4 km (1,400 feet/0.3 mile) SE of Angels Camp (near the SE city limits of Angels Camp). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Slabby, massive greenstone on dump. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
Rock was quarried in 1920, crushed, for use on roofing paper. Dump material used for road base (1956).
