A W occurrence located in the SE¼ sec. 34, T30S, R32E, MDM, 7.3 km (4.6 miles) WSW of Millersville, on the W canyon wall (E slope of the Devils Backbone (ridge)), in the headwaters area, of Devils Canyon (6 miles ESE of Caliente). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
