A former Hg mine located in sec. 14, T38N, R6W, MDM, 6.8 km (4.2 miles) ENE of Ramshorn Summit (coordinates of record), along Crow Creek, just N of its confluence with Cinnabar Gulch, on National Forest land. Owned by George L. Costa (1965). Operated by A.Y. Cripps (1958). Operated intermittently since 1937. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 2,000 meters.

Mineralization is a Hg deposit (Deposit model: 179: Silica-carbonate Hg). Associated rocks include serpentinite. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).

Related tectonic structures include the Klamath Mountains.

Workings include surface and underground openings with a total length of 22.86 meters and an overall depth of 9.14 meters, comprised of a shallow shaft, an adit, and trenches.

Production statistics: 1962: period to 1962: Estimated accuracy: Hg ^5 pounds/ton. Trace Hg at 2,259 grams/MT.
