Teviot Brook and others rise in the Border Range area between Qld and NSW. A resistant trachyte is heavily eroded and exposed basalts, ultramafic, andesite etc. overlying the basement shales and sandstones have been transported downstream. Fine zeolites are collected from these rocks.
