Historic location for nice pegmatite minerals. The " Papiermühle " was a paper manufacture, but it was closed lots of years ago.
The region around contains some pegmatite veins, but only one visible outcrop, a privately owned sandpit, 500 m far away from the old factory.

This location became famous for good pegmatite minerals in the 1980s and 1990s; after this time it was partially backfilled and forbidden.
Local mineral collectors found sometimes lots of smoky quartz crystals during local building measures.
Today mineral collecting and digging is not possible here, but the area around including the agricultural fields provides a small opportunity to look for minerals.
