Small cliff at the top of the Pusty vrch Hill near Folknare village. Basaltoid rocks with many "bubbles" filled with zeolites.
Older (German) literature mentions this place as "Schichenberg bei Tetschen" (Hibsch, 1934: 161).
Pustý vrch is a 499 meter high hill between Děčín and the village of Dobrná in the Ústí nad Labem Region. It is located 3.5 km east of the city center and lies in the Czech Central Mountains Protected Landscape Area. It is drained along the entire perimeter by the river Ploučnice.
Note:
The top part of the hill and the north-eastern slope belong to the village of Dobrná;
The south-western slope belongs to the Děčín part of Děčín XXVII-Březiny;
The lower part of the north-western slope to the Děčín part of Děčín XXVIII-Folknáře.
