Levels driven for lead on Ash Cleugh, a tribuary of Westernhope Burn. The principal level is driven at the base of the Great Limestone, through one of the Ash Hill Veins to Westernhope Great Vein. Other veins worked were Gowlands and North Vein. A small tonnage of fluorspar was recovered from the tips but much remains.
All the adits have collapsed at the entrance.
Grid reference refers to principal adit.
