A former lode Au-Ag-Pb-Cu occurrence/mine located in secs. 25, T16N, R7E, and in sec. 30, T16N, R8E, MDM, 1.8 km (1.1 miles) SSE of Rough and Ready, along Osceola Ravine (4 miles W of Grass Valley; S of Squirrel Creek). The property comprises 20 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in amphibolite and gabbro. The ore body strikes N70W and dips 60N at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 140.21 meters and an overall depth of 45.72 meters and comprised of a tunnel, shallow shafts and open cuts.

Analytical data results: Some ore assayed to $30 (period values)/ton.
