A former lode Au mine/group of claims located in the S½SW¼ sec. 23, T38N, R9W, MDM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) WNW of The Cedars, along Coffee Creek, W of the North Fork Coffee Creek (between the South Fork and North Fork, 1 mile W of Francis Cabin), on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in peridotite. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
