Comments:Euhedral to highly corroded crystals occur in ankerite veins. Large crystals to 30cm encountered once in a large muscovite-class pegmatite on a new part of bench 2 in 2000. ID questionable due to poor XRD pattern. Possibly partly metamict.
Habit:Slender prisms,much like epidote crystals. Aspect ratio usually about 8:1
Colour:very dark brown to black
