Locality type:Occurrence
Classification
Species:Sekaninaite
Formula:(Fe,Mg)2Al3(AlSi5O18)

The first occurrence in the British Isles of minerals near the sekaninaite end of the series; a cordierite with Fe = Mg was earlier reported from Scotland, see B. E. Leake (1960) Am.
