| Comments: | It is stated in Pezzotta et al (1997) without any further analysis that the red and green tourmaline at Antandrokomby are mainly liddicoatite. In Pezzotta (1999), p 53 (german version) there is a picture of red crystals with greenish core (from a miarolitic cavity), and the accompanying texts calls these "crystals of elbaite-liddicoatite"- this is not reflected in the book text though.
RRUFF Identification has only been confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (Red part of red and green prismatic xls) see http://rruff.info/liddicoatite/display=default/R060969
