Comments:	Crystals can reach over 2.5 cm on an edge. Unpublished XRF analysis by Harold Moritz found 98% Fe of total Fe+Mn content.
Habit:	dodecahedral
Colour:	maroon to purple, nearly black
UV Fluorescence:	none
Quality of samples:	Excellent - world class for species or very significant. (!!)
