| Type Locality: | Arøya (Arö; Store Arøya), Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway is the type locality for Nordenskiöldine | | Comments: | Brøgger found nordenskiöldine in a small pegmatite on the west side of Arøya. He blow up the entire vein to get enough material for examination. The mineral was not found again before in 1979, when H.C. Aadahl found some in a loose material blown out from a pegmatite not far away from the type locality.
