Comments:Bornite can also pseudomorph after Betekhtinite (RWMW specimen)

A variety rich in lead, named "Galenobornite" ( (Cu, Pb)4.7 Fe S4), in long (3 centimeters) primatic yellow-brown crystals, has been described in this deposit (T.A. Satpaeva et al. , Izvest. Akad. Nauk. Kaz. S.S.R. , Serv. Géol. , 1964, 2, 29. ).
Habit:Cubes, octos, dodecs, trapezohedrons to a few cm
Colour:dark blue to black , irridescent
UV Fluorescence:none
Quality of samples:Excellent - world class for species or very significant. (!!)
