| Comments: | In Birch and van der Heydon (1997) tocornalite was described as "seams of a compact canary-yellow mineral were found with iodargyrite in kaolin-rich lode rocks from 3 Lens, on the 260m N level in Kintore. The mineral rapidly darkens to greenish grey then dark grey after exposure to sunlight for several minutes. These properties are similar to those of the poorly described silver mercury iodide tocornalite". |
