In garnet/biotite gneisses (Shuanghe / Eur. J. Mineral. , 1995, 7, pp. 119-138).

In jadeite quartzite : relictual, replaced by taramite, albite or aegirine (rimward) (Shuanghe / Eur. J. Mineral. , 1995, 7, pp. 119-138).

In epidote two-micas schists (Shuanghe / Eur. J. Mineral. , 1995, 7, pp. 119-138).

In layered eclogites intercalated with paragneisses.
