Description
Comments:	Well formed crystals, up to 5 cm across or so, usually in groups. Mn oxide staining is associated, but the garnets are almandine, with Fe:Mn proportions of 74:26 respectively based on XRF analysis.
Habit:	trapezohedral
Colour:	dark reddish black
Quality of samples:	Good crystals or rich for species - important (!)
Rarity at site:	Rare
