Description
Comments:This is one of the most famous Bottino minerals and it is called also "plumosite". It forms feltry masses of very thin and delicate xls. In the past it was described as jamesonite, eteromorphite, boulangerite, zinkenite or meneghinite but recent studies have proved that Bottino's plumosite is always boulangerite (Garavelli et al., 1957; Orlandi et al., 2002). It is possible to find acicular xls up to 15 cm or in fibrous compact masses.
