Replacing photos with better versions
July 20, 2009 09:13PM
Hi,

yesterday I tried to replace some of my photos with newer versions (I got a new calibrated monitor and found the colors to be off in some images, in particular the digitally rendered background, good luck the camera was calibrated).
Except for one image where the specimen came out too red this is mainly a matter of taste, of course.

Everything seemed to work.

But when I checked again today I found the old photos in my small gallery again.
Why could that be?

Cheers
Amir

After you uploaded the photo did you click on the "Update Photo and information" button on the bottom of the form?

The updated version should show up in your gallery with the new photo after the form is submitted (photos still need to go through approval though to show up on the rest of the site).

I guess that's what I had missed.
Thanks!
