Hi,

Maybe it has been asked before, but I could not find in during my searches. So excuses if I bother you with an old question.

Is it possible to somehow download a large number of coordinates from Mindat?

I use my own mapping (GIS) software to sort of study old mining sites. Nothing serious, just another way to waste yet another saturday evening. I combine images like Google Earth, topographical maps, geological maps and scans of old sketchmaps and mine plans etc to hopefully get a picture of how the mines looked both above and below ground. To reference everything it is most easy if I know the *exact* coordinates of the shafts and their identity. Often the exact coordinates can be derived from Google earth or topographical maps. But it would be nice to have the Mindat coordinates as well, because it gives a name for the mine. My current areas of interest are Saxony and Cornwall.
Just a plain delimited text like name, x, y, dbf or excell file would be superb.

Thanks,
Maurice
