Can minerals be added to a locality?

How can minerals be added to a locality? For instance .. the Morton Homestead page lists 6 minerals but I have identified 24 from there. I have successfully uploaded pictures of some of them but they do not show up on the list.

The additions will have to be approved by a manager before they will show up on the locality page.
