Unable to get <video> tag to work

I am working on an article (Ste Marie Aux Mines 2012 show report). But am having trouble getting video to work in the article.

The manual says (but note the broken link in the second one):

You can embed a video from YouTube or Google Video using this tag. It has parameters of float=left or float=right as with . Inside the tag listed below, replace the code with the YouTube URL of the video that you wish to show in your page.

Yet when I try the following, I don't get anything:

Note above, the message board is dropping the close tag < / video > (minus the spaces). I see I have a link here, but not in the report editor.

Any thoughts?

Google Video is dead now, so that's not going to work.

I'll check the youtube code, it may need updating.
