How to Contributetransfer an ID mineral from a locality to sublocality

15th Mar 2014 04:08 UTCFred A. Schuster

I added a epidote photo today to the Salem locality in Connecticut> After I added a sublocality to Salem, The Getty Granite Quarry on Rt 85 with coordinates. I was working there in 1998 and I collected some things in the back quarry. I should have out the epidote into the sublocality. How do you transfer it from Locality to sublocality?

Fred

Hello Fred,

Simply edit the locality of your photo. Click the "Edit this photo" button and then the " Edit" button next to the locality and change it.

Fred, I've cleared the cache & the new sub-localities can now been seen under Salem.

You need to add the mineral epidote to the locality list, under the reference put your collection name & either the photo ID number or a full link to the photo please. Then you can carry out the changes as mentioned above by Reiner, or add the locality number into the locality box (256348).
