I would like to get knowledge more about this alteration product from those who have study it or are interested. I will start discussion from this point: is leucoxene an alteration product of Fe-Ti oxides only, or also of Fe-Ti silicates (e.g. titanite) ?

'Leucoxene' is a handy term to use under the ore microscope for fine grained alteration products of titanium minerals, usually found to be rutile and/or anatase on more detailed examination by XRD.
