I was reading Rock's note about collecting at this locality with John Whitmire. It seems to me these were readily available in the mid 1970s and were labeled San Quintin, Baja California Sur. There is a bay in the San Quintin area, but if these were coming out of Guerrero Negro in the 1970s, it seems likely that San Quintin is an incorrect locality. Any one know?
