Hello,
I noticed longer time ago, that the schema of the localities (shafts) in the Příbram area on mindat is wrong and confusing. So I did new scheme of the localities in the area (below). It is possible, there will be necessary to do some minor changes in the future, but it is much better than the existing situation.
Kind regards
Pavel
Mining museum Příbram
1) Hvožďany is not part of the Příbram deposit
2) Mokrsko is another deposit
3) Rožmitál pod Třemšínem does not belong in the Příbram area
Right schema should be:
Příbram ore area (Příbram)
BřezovéHory ore region
-----------BřezovéHory deposit
--------------------Anna mine
--------------------Vojtěch mine (Adalbert mine)
--------------------Marie mine
--------------------Prokop mine
--------------------Ševčín mine (Franz Josef mine)
--------------------Drkolnov mine
-----------Černojamské (Black pits) deposit
--------------------Lill mine
--------------------Jarošovka mine
--------------------Ferdinand mine
------------Bohutín deposit
---------------------Řimbaba mine
---------------------František mine
---------------------Rudolf mine (25.February mine, Štefánik mine)
---------------------Štěpán mine
Out of the BřezovéHory ore region, but still in close area (and in the same ore-bearing area), are several smaller old mines with nice mineral founds

Hi Pavel,
that sure was a lot of work.
Thanks!
I wonder if there are some references or sources that you could name as a basis for your scheme.
Not necessarily printed references, it may also be your personal experience like (something like "I've been working underground there for 20 years and know the mines").
You know, the scheme that is there right now has been done by someone else, and probably with some reason behind it, so we should give a reason for changing it.

Dear Debie,
fine thanks.
Dear Amir,
thanks and understood.
Of course that somebody can make another scheme (or better fix some minor things on it), but i hope that this is right by 99,9%...
I unfortunately did not work in Příbram mines (but visited a part of them), but I am working as a mineralogist in Mining museum Příbram, living here for 5 years and studying this locality for about 17 years. I consulted this scheme with my friends which are all long time collectors of Příbram minerals and with one of the best geologist of the Příbram uranium mines. Hope this is sufficient :)
Kind regards
Pavel

I've made all the changes except the last one (Cetyně Smolotely – Horní Líšnice) as I'm slightly confused on this one as we already have Smolotely-Horní Líšnice Gold District [www.mindat.org] is this not the same ?
Also like to check with you Prokop mine as this is listed under Dubenec & under Březové Hory deposit, are they 2 different mines or the same one ?
Many thanks for your work on this Pavel.
Kind regards
Debbie

Dear Debie,
thanks for your message.
Cetyně is solitary locality (old and new mining works for base-metal raw)
Smolotely - Horní Líšnice is the gold district you have just on mindat.
Concerning the Prokop shaft, it is just like you wrote, there is one Prokop shaft in the Březové Hory (base-metal) and another one Prokop shaft near Dubenec (gold).
Kind regards
Pavel

Hello Debbie,
there are still some mistakes in the schema
1)The Krásná Hora deposit is before the Příbram locality in the schema, it is totally another locality (about 30 km out of Příbram)
2) on the end of the scheme are still several "other" localities
Hvožďany
Petrackova hora
Mokrsko
Mokrsko Au deposit
Rožmitál pod Třemšínem
This localities are out of the Příbram ore region
3) there is "Příbram District" on the end of the scheme. It would be better to erase it probably, or give it before "Příbram"
Kind regards
Pavel
