Looks more like malachite to me. Volborthite has a completely other colour.

You is absolutely right - this is obviously not volborthite. I don't know, what it is exactly - ypou more know local mineralogy.


Unfortunately Michel never answer complaints or somehow react on them. So I'd move the photo in his personal photogallery. It will be invisible on locality or volborthite galleries in future.

Thank you Pavel. I just checked a lot of volborthite`s and vesignieite`s with EDS from there and ALL look different to this pic.
